Tyreek was showcased as a featured guest on the renowned streaming series "Live From Emmet’s Place," where he performed alongside the Award-winning American jazz pianist and composer, Emmet Cohen, and his Trio. During the performance, Tyreek delivered a captivating rendition of "Every Day I Have The Blues," a song famously associated with the Count Basie Orchestra, paying homage to the legendary baritone Joe Williams.

As part of a recent collaboration with Emmet Cohen, Tyreek honors John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman with a sultry, heart wrenching rendition of the Billy Strayhorn classic, "Lush Life."

THE BACKWARD STEP
Tyreek takes the stage at SMOKE Jazz Club, delivering a captivating performance of powerhouse trumpeter Nicholas Payton's original composition, "The Backward Step." Joining him on stage is percussionist Mino Cinélu, known for his collaboration with jazz legend Miles Davis, as well as the talented Kevin Hays, Vicente Archer, and Bill Stewart, all long-time collaborators with Mr. Payton.
